The Thinker

Here's Hyrum contemplating how to build the roof on the elevator tower. The first version of the plan I gave him with the tower showed it only four feet above the 2nd floor wall. By the time I delivered the plan that showed it at five feet, he already had it built. Now we have to figure out a way to drain the water from behind it and hopefully still preserve the look we wanted.

There has been lots of thinking about roof drainage related to our new kitchen too. At least all your walls are still square and parallel and perpendicular to the ground. Nothing about our house is square. They decided they need the laser to shoot the level line for the roof support beam.
